Overview
This project provided a luxury, upmarket pod for KAFD and Parsons to demonstrate the suitability of modular pods for future PIF and hospitality projects within the KAFD developments in Riyadh.
Key features
The pod was produced with ultra-high-end finishes tailored to five-star-plus design requirements, with production, delivery, and installation completed within the shortest possible timeframe.
Results
Due to crane-load restrictions on site, the pod was manufactured in two pieces and joined on site to create a large bathroom with ultra-luxury finishes. The demonstration showed that pod size and finish quality could be maintained during transportation and installation on an active building site.
